Leasing Consultant - Reading Commons

About the role

The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in welcoming prospective residents, coordinating tours, and responding to inquiries about leasing. This position also involves interacting with current residents regarding day-to-day issues and coordinating lease renewals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
• Lease apartments and sell property's products and services in accordance with budget
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and major competition
• Aid in marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
• Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
• Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
• Regularly attend to residents throughout the lease
• Handle resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow-up

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years' customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or apartment leasing role
• Support of Bell's strategic drivers
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional image
• Ability to work on a team or in a team environment
• Resourcefulness and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Understanding and alignment with Bell Core Values
• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
• Comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Good decision-making skills and knowledge of business operations

Pay

Hourly: $21.93 - $30.00
