Leasing Consultant - Part Time

About the role

Leasing Consultants at LR Management help customers find their next home in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll support the management office by assisting with administrative tasks while presenting apartments, building rapport with tenants, and ensuring properties are well-maintained.

Schedule

• 24 hours per week
• Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Responsibilities

• Present apartments and amenities to prospective tenants in a positive light
• Build rapport with current and prospective tenants while providing personalized service
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and addendums according to company standards
• Maintain apartment availability and unit status records
• Monitor use of community facilities (laundry, mail, guest cards, fitness center)
• Partner with the Maintenance team to ensure effective property upkeep
• Screen prospective tenants for eligibility
• Oversee and coordinate new tenant orientation
• Assist with office and clerical tasks, including professional phone handling
• Follow up on service requests
• Accept rent payments, security deposits, and other fees
• Maintain and securely store documentation
• Inspect properties during tenant move-in and move-out
• Liaise with tenants to address complaints and provide information
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred, or a high school diploma/GED with verifiable Leasing Coordinator experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in leasing, hospitality, or administrative work
• Experience with Yardi and CRM systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to multitask during busy periods
