Leasing Consultant, Multifamily (Floating)

About the role

The Leasing Consultant at Elysian at the District plays a crucial part in the onsite management team. They are responsible for generating interest in the community, driving sales, assisting prospects in qualifying for an apartment, ensuring apartments are ready for move-in, delivering exceptional service to residents, and coordinating paperwork related to apartment home rentals.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
• Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.
• Absorb and initiate background checks to assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home.
• Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.
• Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations and maintain resident retention.
• Use attention to detail, planning, and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. It requires standing and walking for extended periods, ascending and descending stairs, ladders, and step stools, and traveling between properties in varying weather conditions. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for 85% of the time, operate office machinery, and travel up to 5% of the time.
