About the role

The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial part in the onsite management team, focusing on generating interest in the community and driving sales. Key responsibilities include touring the property, assisting with background checks, preparing apartments for move-in, and delivering exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Generate interest in the community by touring the property and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
  • Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.
  • Aid prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting necessary information and initiating background checks.
  • Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations.
  • Use attention to detail, planning, and organizing skills to perform office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
  • Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.
  • Be courteous and professional.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
  • 1+ years of related experience.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
