About the role
The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role within the onsite management team, focusing on generating interest in the community and driving sales by highlighting the quality of the community and its lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
- Drive the sale by emphasizing the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.
- Aid prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting necessary information and initiating background checks.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in.
- Deliver exceptional service to residents to maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Perform administrative tasks and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.
- Use attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills to handle office activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Pay
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
