Leasing Consultant, Multifamily
About the role
The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role within the onsite management team, focusing on generating interest in the community and driving sales through effective communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Generate interest in the community by touring the property and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
- Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.
- Absorb and initiate background checks to assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home.
- Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in and deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations.
- Use attention to detail, planning, and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
- Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- Travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions
- Sit or stand for 85% of the time
- Operate office machinery
- Travel up to 5% of the time
Compensation
The compensation for the position is: $17.00 - $20.00
