Leasing Consultant, Multifamily

About the role

The Leasing Consultant plays an important role with the onsite management team, looking to support the efforts of being successful. Key responsibilities include generating interest in the community, driving sales, assisting with prospect qualification, ensuring apartments are ready for move-in, delivering exceptional service to residents, and coordinating paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects and answering questions about amenities, local community, and grounds.
• Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.
• Absorb and initiate background checks to assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home.
• Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.
• Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retention.
• Use attention to detail, planning, and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
• Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.

Pay

$20.40 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule

Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
