About the role
The Leasing Consultant at Bell Partners is responsible for welcoming prospective residents, coordinating tours, responding to inquiries, interacting with current residents, and managing lease renewals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
- Lease apartments and sell property's products and services in accordance with budget
- Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and major competition
- Avoid discrimination and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Standards
- Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
- Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
- Regularly attend to residents' needs, complaints, and issues and provide timely follow-up
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or apartment leasing role
- Support of Bell's strategic drivers and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Team-oriented and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Resourcefulness and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
- Comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
