Leasing Consultant - Bell Avalon Park
About the role
The Leasing Consultant at Bell Partners is responsible for welcoming prospective residents, coordinating tours, responding to inquiries, interacting with current residents, and coordinating lease renewals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
- Lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget
- Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and major competition
- Avoid discrimination in all matters when working with prospects and residents
- Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
- Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
- Regularly attend and be punctual
- Properly document all interactions
- Follow up with residents throughout the lease
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ customer service experience; preferably in a hospitality or apartment leasing role
- Support of Bell’s strategic drivers
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional image
- Ability to work on a team or in a team environment
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Good decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses work

Physical Requirements
- Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
