About the role
We are seeking an experienced sales and customer service professional for our beautiful 246-unit community in Fremont. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry.
Responsibilities
- Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
- Input information into computer systems.
- Accompany prospects to model apartments and discuss size, layout, available facilities (e.g., swimming pool), location of shopping centers and freeways, services, and lease terms.
- Qualify prospective residents by verifying applications, lease documents, and related paperwork.
- Update records as necessary.
- Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposits and application fees.
- Introduce residents to apartment and property procedures.
- Promote positive, proactive resident relations to ensure a high-quality living experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must be an effective listener and communicator with the ability to work well on a team.
- Ability to work weekends is required.
Pay
$19.00–$21.63 per hour.
