Leasing Consultant

Sares Regis Group Residential of Newport Beach, California, is a privately held real estate development, investment, and management firm specializing in multifamily communities in the western U.S. Since its founding in 1993, SRG Residential has developed and acquired over $7 billion in commercial and residential assets, managing a portfolio of approximately 42,000 apartment units.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced sales and customer service professional for our beautiful 200-unit community in Vancouver, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Input information into computer systems.
• Accompany prospects to model apartments and discuss size/layout of rooms, available facilities (e.g., swimming pool), location of shopping centers and freeways, services, and lease terms.
• Qualify prospective residents by verifying applications, lease documents, and related paperwork; update records as necessary.
• Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposits and application fees.
• Introduce residents to apartment and property procedures.
• Promote positive, proactive resident relations to ensure a high-quality living experience.

Requirements

• 1 year of demonstrated sales and customer service experience (required).
• Lease-up experience (preferred).
• Yardi and CRM experience (required).
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Strong listening, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

$20.00 – $22.00 per hour
