S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co., founded in 1906, is a leading real estate development company in the southeastern United States. We manage over 30,000 multifamily units across Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region, offering a wide range of services including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, land, and investment sales and leasing, property management, development, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents
• Prepares lease packets
• Inspects apartments prior to showing them
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property
• Leases units
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents
• Maintains a visible public relations’ attitude toward current and prospective residents

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Some advanced real estate training, including familiarity with the Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws
• Prior experience in a leasing position (preferred)
