Leasing Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
  • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
  • Update unit availability daily and maintain accurate leasing information.
  • Process rental applications in accordance with company procedures.
  • Submit and track maintenance requests for residents.
  • Receive and record collections following company standards.
  • Provide general clerical, office, and phone support.
  • Maintain complete and accurate resident files and documentation.
  • Manage move-in calendars to ensure appointments are completed and units meet move-in standards.
  • Address and help resolve resident concerns; escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
  • Conduct move-out walks and support the move-out process.
  • Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Special Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Occasional climbing may be required.
  • Must be able to work at a computer and use a phone for extended periods.
  • Must be able to detect auditory and visual alarms.
  • Availability to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read and write English fluently and perform intermediate math functions.
  • One year of experience in the service industry preferred (hospitality, retail, customer service, etc.).
  • Intermediate computer and internet proficiency.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with: Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check.
  • Learning & Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development through company-provided training.
  • Ability to effectively utilize all on-site property management software.
