Leasing Consultant

About the role

Fogelman is a nationally recognized, fully integrated multifamily real estate company that invests in and manages apartment communities, backed by six decades of experience, dynamic associates, and expert leadership. We are seeking a professional Leasing Consultant to join the team at Legacy Farm in the Collierville area.

Responsibilities

• Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Accompanies prospects to model/vacant apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available amenities and terms of lease.
• Sets up appointments and processes applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains positive resident relations by ensuring consistent follow-up with prospects, scheduling move ins, completing lease paperwork, and inspecting the condition of the premises.
• Plans and coordinates resident events, assists with all marketing duties, and handles resident requests and complaints.
• Ensures all marketing strategies are executed through virtual and in-person community tours, social media, and resident functions.
• Completes move-ins prior to the move-in date and follows up with new residents after move-in.
• Adheres to all company policies including safety and Fair Housing guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least two years of sales or leasing experience.
• Up to one year of related experience or training.
• Experience with virtual and in-person community tours.
• Working knowledge of property management platforms (Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM).
• Marketing skills with the ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media, and resident functions.
• Familiarity with the local market.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
