Responsibilities
- Aid in the leasing process to achieve full occupancy and maintain high occupancy levels
- Maintain accurate records of property availability and assist with the renewal process
- Manage property licenses and liaise with legal counsel and city officials
- Handle the check-out process, ensuring compliance with final account statements and conducting inspections of vacated units
- Investigate and address resident concerns promptly, maintaining good public relations
- Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required
- Develop and implement advertising/marketing and resident retention programs
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment
- Operate a range of office tools including fax machines, copiers, computers, and other equipment
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of leases and resident check-ins
- Communicate courteously with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors
- Follow through with necessary paperwork and meet all deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Ability to operate various office equipment including fax machines, copiers, computers, and other devices
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Entrata (preferred)
- Ability to perform numerical analysis and prepare documents accurately
- Compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Logical thinking and ability to follow standardized procedures
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, first aid/cpr certification, valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Entrata (if applicable).
