Leasing Consultant

About the role

AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, seeks a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to join our team at one of our apartment communities. This role involves driving the daily operations of the leasing team and ensuring residents experience luxury living.

Responsibilities

• Create customized tours for prospective residents, focusing on their preferences and needs.
• Follow up with leads to ensure residents feel valued and supported.
• Work Saturdays to handle high traffic times and engage with potential residents.
• Build strong relationships with residents and colleagues, fostering a sense of community.
• Use sales and marketing skills to generate excitement and interest in the community.
• Stay informed about local amenities and events to provide residents with relevant information.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $41,000.00 - $57,000.00

Schedule

Saturdays are required for this role.
