Leasing Consultant - Aria Landings

About the Role

This role combines customer service and sales, focusing on leasing apartments at Aria Landings, a 320-unit apartment community in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with customers by phone, in person, and online, presenting properties, building rapport, and following company standards for tours and sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; build rapport and provide property tours.
• Present available units, close leases following company standards, and conduct timely follow-up with prospects who do not lease immediately.
• Inspect and prepare ("sparkle") homes scheduled for tours daily and ensure the tour path is clean and presentable.
• Maintain familiarity with property features, local schools, hospitals, banks, shopping, transportation, and amenities; communicate these effectively to prospects.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws; complete Guest Cards for every interaction and accurately enter data in Yardi PMS software.
• Guide customers through application completion and collect required documentation for affordable housing eligibility.
• Participate in off-site marketing activities and traffic-generating initiatives to support occupancy goals.
• Support community events, assist with resident retention efforts, and complete projects assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Sales and/or customer service experience preferred (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, retail).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities in a friendly, outgoing, and professional manner.
• Basic math skills for calculating rent payments, deposits, application fees, pet fees, interest, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong reasoning ability and focus on established goals and sales requirements.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 7 days a week as needed.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
