Leasing Consultant | $20/hr. + Renewal and Sales commission

$20 hourly, plus renewal and sales commission.

About the role

The Leasing Consultant facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective residents with leasing inquiries and property tours
• Process rental applications and lease agreements
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing goals
• Market available units through online listings, social media, and community outreach
• Represent Village Green at various outside networking and social functions
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Two years of leasing experience with multi-family properties
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with property management software (Yardi, One Site, MRI, or Sight Plan) is highly desired
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of current and future residents in a friendly and professional manner
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required.
