About the role
At Bell Partners, the Leasing Consultant serves as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community. This role involves leasing apartments, selling property's products and services, following up on leasing traffic entries, maintaining product knowledge, assisting with marketing activities, and coordinating resident applications.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
- To effectively lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget
- To ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
- To follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
- To maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition
- To coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
- To complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
- To assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
- To receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up
Requirements
- Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ customer service experience; preferably in a hospitality or apartment leasing role
- Support of BAL strategic drivers
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work on a team or in a team environment
- Professional image
- Resourcefulness and organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses work
Qualifications
- Physical requirements: Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials. Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects.
