About the Role

The Leasing Associate plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for current and future residents at The Birches in Chesapeake, VA. This position supports the smooth and effective operation of the property through marketing, customer engagement, administrative support, and resident relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing activities to attract prospective residents, ensuring the community's visibility and appeal.
• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours of vacant/model apartments, and assist in the timely processing of applications.
• Assist the Community Manager with day-to-day operations, including processing rent payments and performing ongoing administrative functions.
• Provide outstanding customer service, building positive relationships with both current and prospective residents to ensure a great living experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook, with experience using property management software.
• MRI experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities with ease.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
• Dependability and flexibility, with a willingness to collaborate with the team to meet property goals.
• Passion for customer service and the ability to relate to residents and prospective tenants.
