Overview

The Leasing Associate position at RPM is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations. Key responsibilities include handling lease signings, assisting with applications and deposits, and promoting resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone and internet inquiries to schedule tours
  • Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in Lead Management Software
  • Aid in the processing of applications, credit checks, and rental history verification
  • Show apartments and assist with move-ins
  • Maintain an active social media presence to enhance property visibility
  • Respond to complaints and take appropriate actions to resolve service issues
  • Close sales by making appointments, generating leads, and conducting tours
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase traffic within budget constraints
  • Plan and attend resident functions to improve retention
  • Complete necessary paperwork for lease, move-in, and other peak period activities
  • Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses to resident service requests

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • One to two years of related experience or equivalent training
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Property Management Software knowledge

Physical Requirements

  • Sit for extended periods while working at a desk
  • Climb stairs
  • Read documents, computer screens, and data
  • Hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • Lift and carry items up to 20 pounds
  • Use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks

Work Environment

  • Based on site, primarily in an office setting but may require outdoor work
  • Open office environment with bright lights, constant noises, and distractions
  • Flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
