Leasing Agent - Part Time

About the role

WPM is looking for a friendly and energetic individual with sales and customer service experience to join their leasing team at Twin Ridge Apartments in Pikesville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Track all phone and walk-in traffic by recording it into the system daily; prepare weekly traffic reports
• Aid applicants with the application process and gather supporting documentation
• Manage marketing materials
• Maintain vacancy reports daily, perform all checklist items to prepare vacant units for move-in
• Ensure vacant apartments are ready for move-in by performing minor cleaning tasks
• Promote resident retention through tasks in the Resident Retention Plan; plan, assist with, and participate in community events
• Visit competitor properties quarterly to stay informed of specials
• Aid in scheduling building tours, maintenance, and communication with residents
• Support Property Managers by producing, modifying, and distributing various forms, spreadsheets, manuals, information packages, etc.
• Process correspondence with residents, contractors, and other third parties for Property Management staff
• Maintain and update insurance certificate files for all residents
• Help with electronic/hard copy filing systems for residents, invoices, purchase orders, vendors, and other files
• Contribute to operational needs by providing phone coverage and administrative support related to property management operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Previous experience in customer service preferred; some leasing experience a plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred

• Operate PC and learn new software

Pay

Hourly rate starting at $21 an hour

Schedule

Part-time position, two 8-hour shifts per week on weekdays and Saturday from 10AM-5PM
