About the role
The Campus team is dedicated to providing superb housing for college students since 1958. We seek a passionate and enthusiastic Leasing Agent to join our team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the day-to-day operations to ensure customer satisfaction, financial stability, and good physical condition.
- Support leasing efforts to achieve full lease-up and maintain high occupancy levels by managing the mailing of renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
- Accurately document and manage property licenses and the renewal process through liaison with legal counsel and the City.
- Handle the check-out process to meet final account statement requirements, including key acceptance and unit inspections.
- Ensure accurate and efficient lease signing and resident check-ins, investigate and respond to resident concerns in a timely manner, and foster good public relations by reporting to the General Manager.
- Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required, assist in advertising/marketing programs, and develop and implement resident retention programs.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, answering phones, and using various office equipment.
- Assist in property management tasks including operating office equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Entrata (preferred).
- Ability to follow through with paperwork and meet deadlines.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Logical thinking and ability to follow standardized procedures.
