About the role
Nextran Truck Centers is seeking a Leasing Account Manager to join our team in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. This position offers career growth within a network of 30 dealerships, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a company that prioritizes social responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new leasing opportunities within the assigned region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend the appropriate mix of equipment and lease terms
- Negotiate lease terms and pricing to ensure both profitability and customer satisfaction
- Cook up and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Coordinate with internal departments (maintenance, operations, finance) to fulfill lease agreements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and fleet technology
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Provide excellent after-sale service and support to promote long-term customer retention
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business and/or marketing or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in transportation, leasing, or logistics
- Proven ability to manage a regional territory and work independently
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of truck leasing, DOT regulations, and fleet operations a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record, willing to travel within assigned region (up to 75%)
Preferred Candidates
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Business and/or marketing or equivalent experience
- Have 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in transportation, leasing, or logistics
