Lease-Up Property Manager

About the Role

The Lease-up Property Manager is responsible for the overall operations of Aura Fairways, a luxury Class A property with 300+ units located in Mesquite, TX. This role ensures efficient operations, oversees supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting, while creating a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including resident satisfaction, retention, and full resident lifecycle activities (e.g., lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management)
• Oversee property P&L and marketing in accordance with company standards
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service
• Recruit, interview, and hire associates, providing corrective feedback and development opportunities
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents
• Respond to resident complaints and serve as a liaison between residents and the corporate office
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking
• Organize and implement emergency evacuation plans and manage safety records
• Handle property loss claims and risk management initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years of property management experience
• 1-2 years of direct management experience
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities
• Real estate license preferred or required in some locations
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Yardi Voyager or equivalent systems preferred

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Sensitivity to confidential matters
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance

$85,000 to $94,000 per year
