About the role
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, career-minded, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Make timely, calculated decisions and take actions necessary to achieve exceptionally high customer service
- Identify ways to continually improve the living experience of our residents and the expectations of prospective residents
- Generate and handle traffic, lease apartments, qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in procedures
- Comply with all state, federal, and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing
- Work with the management team to identify ways to improve the living experience of our residents and the expectations of prospective residents
- Provide quality, value, and exceptional service to our residents
Requirements
- Proven closing/negotiating skills
- Strong sales orientation, both in person and phone sales
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to talk in pictures
- Great listening skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- A proven background in prospecting
- Proactive follow-up with prospective residents
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
- Previous leasing/sales experience
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and multi-tasking
- Marketing strategies and lease-up experience required
- A high level of enthusiasm, as well as a high energy level
- A professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of people
- Working knowledge of Social Media
- Microsoft Office product suite: Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to work weekends and some evenings
Qualifications
Required Education: Associates (preferred but not mandatory)
Required Experience: Leasing: 1 year (preferred but not mandatory), Customer Service: 2 years, Sales: 2 years
Skills
- Driver's License
- NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) preferred but not mandatory
