Lease and Rental Fleet Service Technician

About the role

Highway Motors, Inc., a family-owned, authorized dealer for International trucks and Idealease Lease & Rental services, seeks an entry-level technician for their Idealease fleet shop. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime may be required. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a partial match, and paid time off after three months.

Responsibilities

- Pre-delivery inspections of new trucks - Basic maintenance and light repair on lease and rental trucks - Checking in rental trucks - Washing and cleaning rental trucks or used trucks - Preparing used trucks for sale

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent - Some heavy truck dealership or diesel fleet experience preferred, but not required - CDL or state inspection license preferred, but not required - Self-motivated and able to work well as part of a small team - Ability to easily work within different web portals, online "e-forms," etc.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasional overtime may be required.
