About the role

The Learning Specialist supports training delivery across field locations. This entry-level role works onsite with employees and leaders to assist with onboarding, role-based, and customer experience training. The Learning Specialist helps reinforce continuous learning on the job to ensure training translates into consistent performance and positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support and assist with onsite training programs for frontline employees and managers
  • Aid in onboarding and new hire training at the location level
  • Coordinate training logistics and learning activities at assigned locations
  • Facilitate instructor-led training
  • Observe employee performance and reinforce training and customer experience standards through coaching and feedback
  • Partner with site leaders, HR, and operations teams to support training needs
  • Absorb training participation and completion data
  • Collect training feedback and share field insights with the learning team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in training, customer service, operations, or learning support
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with frontline employees and leaders
  • Experience using common workplace and learning tools (such as learning management systems, virtual meeting platforms, presentation tools, and basic reporting tools)
  • Experience facilitating small group sessions or presentations
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to support field locations
  • Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)

Pay

The annual starting salary for this position is between $75,000 - $80,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Full-time position.
