About the role

The Learning Project Manager will manage the planning, development, implementation, and measurement of training programs globally. This role establishes and executes strategic and tactical activities related to company-wide training programs, driving the effectiveness of global training initiatives. Responsibilities include analysis and post-training assessments to link training facilitation and curriculum effectiveness to key performance indicators, improving and maintaining performance expectations. The role directly supports key business initiatives by accelerating new hire performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing employee engagement, and building critical skills across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and ensure training delivery (New Hire and Ongoing).
  • Design and deliver strategic learning programs aligned to business priorities, enabling workforce capability building and closing critical skill gaps across the organization.
  • Create board readiness programs, executive education opportunities, stretch assignments, and cross-functional experiences that broaden enterprise perspective and prepare leaders for future executive and governance roles.
  • Partner with senior leaders to assess development needs and design personalized learning strategies that strengthen leadership effectiveness, enterprise impact, and career growth.
  • Partner with all internal stakeholders and partners to support revenue growth and demands from the business.
  • Conduct and lead detailed gaps and needs analysis to identify learning objectives and post-training assessment initiatives for the program.
  • Plan and conduct detailed performance and compliance-to-plan reviews.
  • Partner with stakeholders to determine needs and priorities within the business.
  • Lead special projects related to new business developments that require specialized training attention.
  • Ensure consistency of training design, delivery, and execution; proactively provide relevant feedback, suggestions, and best practices to improve results.
  • Create and report business information and metrics as mandated.
  • Attach and validate ROI for all projects.
  • Ensure updated knowledge of the program at all times.
  • Ensure project plans are kept up to date and risk to plan is called out to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Create and edit basic training content in Articulate Storyline authoring tool.
  • Host virtual and/or in-person training sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Project Management or Learning & Development (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Car Rental, Hospitality, or Tourism (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource, I/O Psychology, or related field (preferred).
  • CPTD, ATD, and/or Executive Coaching Certification (preferred).
  • Strong executive presence, communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills; ability to interpret large amounts of data and information to create and execute workable solutions.
  • Strong planning and organization skills; ability to think ahead, conceptualize, and plan for events.
  • Understanding of Learning and Development theories and models (preferred).
  • Experienced in the training life cycle from content needs assessment, content creation, deployment, and post-training assessment.
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Project experience (preferred).
  • Ability to make decisions, use judgment and intuition to function in a matrixed and dynamic environment; able to handle load and deadline-related pressures.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed; occasional travel may be required.
  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.

Pay

Starting at $75,000, commensurate with experience.
