Learning & Development Training Effectiveness Analyst Location: Remote | Greater Southern California / Irwindale, CA Pay: $30-$36/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Hours: 40 hours/week Education: Bachelors degree required About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Training Effectiveness Analyst to support enterprise-wide training initiatives for a large utility organization. This role focuses on training effectiveness, program evaluation, data analysis, and reporting . You will partner with L&D leaders, subject matter experts, HR, and business stakeholders to measure training outcomes, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and translate data into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Develop training evaluation and measurement plansMeasure training effectiveness and program outcomesAnalyze quantitative and qualitative training dataIdentify trends, performance gaps, strengths, and improvement opportunitiesDesign surveys, questionnaires, assessments, and participant feedback toolsEstablish success measures and evaluation methodologiesCreate reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadershipDevelop data visualizations using Excel and Power BITranslate complex data into clear, actionable recommendationsPresent findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholdersSupport training initiatives across multiple business organizationsWork independently while collaborating with L&D, HR, SMEs, and business stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelors degree3-5+ years of Learning & Development or training experienceExperience measuring training effectiveness and program outcomesExperience developing training evaluation plans and methodologiesStrong data analysis and reporting skillsExperience designing surveys, questionnaires, or assessmentsStrong Excel skills, including:Pivot tablesFormulasData tablesData filteringAnalysis of large datasetsCharts and data visualizationExperience creating presentations in PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience presenting findings to business stakeholdersAbility to independently analyze data and provide actionable recommendations Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Kirkpatrick Model or comparable training evaluation methodologyPower BI dashboard development experienceExperience with Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, or similar survey platformsExperience with SuccessFactors Learning or another Learning Management SystemInstructional design or training program management experience Specific survey platform experience is less important than a strong understanding of survey design and evaluation principles . Work Environment This is a primarily remote position . Candidates must reside in the Greater Southern California area and be available for occasional onsite meetings in Irwindale, CA . Candidates must be comfortable using their own device to access the organizations secure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
