L&D Platform Data Management

  • Serve as the L&D team's primary resource for data management and reporting within L&D owned platforms (LMS, KnowledgeBase, etc.)
  • Build and maintain data connections between L&D platforms and Power BI for automated, near-real-time reporting on learning activity and engagement
  • Maintain data hygiene — proactively flagging and resolving data quality issues

Reporting Infrastructure & Power BI Development

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade Power BI dashboards that track the training journey (skills gaps, tool use, program effectiveness, and performance trends)
  • Publish to Power BI Service with scheduled refresh so they stay current automatically
  • Develop semantic data models that unify L&D platform and external operational data using DAX measures for key KPI’s (period-over-period comparisons, running totals, completion benchmarks) and Row-Level Security (RLS) so stakeholders see only data appropriate to their role
  • Modernize manual tracking tools into automated reports, dashboards, and workflows that replace repetitive processes
  • Document workflows, data sources, and refresh schedules to support sustainability and knowledge transfer

Stakeholder Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and present executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards for business leaders
  • Maintain a single source of truth for L&D metrics — standardized KPI definitions, naming conventions, and a central report inventory
  • Champion data governance best practices for report ownership, refresh schedules, and access management
  • Partner with subject matter experts and systems teams to ensure data quality, access, and alignment across all domains

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze L&D platform data (learner engagement, completion trends, time-to-proficiency) to assess training effectiveness and surface actionable insights for leadership and business stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Power BI: Data modeling, DAX measures, report design, RLS, Power BI Service publishing, and scheduled refresh
  • Power Automate: Flow design for report distribution, data alerts, MS Forms pipelines, and scheduled, trigger-based process automation
  • Microsoft Excel: Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas — used for ad hoc analysis and data validation
  • Microsoft 365: Comfortable using SharePoint, MS Forms, PowerPoint, and Teams as data and workflow tools
  • Data Integration: Combining data from multiple source systems into a unified reporting layer (exposure to SQL, SharePoint data sources, or Azure Data Services is a plus)
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Translates raw data from multiple systems into clear, unified insights and recommendations, and proactively identifies data or process issues and recommends scalable solutions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; comfortable presenting findings to leadership and non-technical stakeholders
  • Attention to Detail: A high standard for accuracy in data, formulas, and reporting outputs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Able to work effectively with Operations, Data Science, and other teams to access and integrate data outside of L&D ownership
  • Self-Direction & Growth: Independently manages multiple priorities and deadlines, and stays current on BI tools, L&D platform capabilities, and analytics best practices
  • Certifications in Power BI, data analytics, and/or L&D (e.g., CPLP, ATD)
  • Platform familiarity: LMS (Docebo, or similar); KnowledgeBase (NiCE Expert, or similar), survey, or project management tools (Wrike, or similar)
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, L&D evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model), and call center performance measures
  • Experience in a wireless, telecom, or customer-service-driven environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and enhance reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
