Job Description
GE Vernova's Grid Software team is looking for a Learning Consultant who has lived the world of transmission, distribution, GIS, and/or markets and is ready to help others master it.
We're looking for someone with 5+ years of hands-on experience in grid software, power systems, or utilities who can bridge deep technical knowledge with the art of teaching. If you know GridOS and understand how utilities operate, this role was built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs
- Act as a learning consultant for customers by understanding business context and recommending tailored learning solutions
- Transition portions of traditional ILT into modern formats including blended delivery, self-paced learning, and AI-supported classrooms
- Support global learners across regions and time zones with a focus on GridOS products and solution offerings
- Design learning programs aligned to customer use cases, personas, and sales plays
- Contribute to Level 100, 200, and advanced learning paths, bootcamps, and certifications
- Partner with Instructional Designers and Learning Liaison Managers to curate and govern learning content
- Ensure training readiness aligns with product releases and solution deployments
- Maintain strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to stay current on solution roadmaps
- Translate complex technical and solution-level concepts into outcomes-focused learning experiences
- Provide feedback loop from customers and field delivery into product and learning teams
- Mentor partner instructors and support Train-the-Trainer programs to build scalable delivery capacity
- Leverage AI tools for content enhancement, assessments, and learner support
- Continuously evaluate learner outcomes and improve learning effectiveness using data and feedback
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in grid software, power systems, utilities, or related energy sector roles
- Strong understanding of GridOS products and/or end-to-end utility solutions
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied technical audiences
- Experience collaborating across geographies and diverse stakeholder groups
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in consultative training, customer enablement, or solution advisory roles
- PREFERRED exposure to instructional design principles, certifications, or adult learning methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Distribution, Transmission, Markets, GIS, or related grid platforms

- High learner and customer satisfaction (CSAT ≥ 4.6)
- Increased adoption of solution-aligned and custom learning programs
- Reduced dependency on repeated instructor-led delivery through scalable learning models
- Demonstrated impact on customer readiness, product adoption, and solution success

- The pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $179,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
- Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
