About the role
Talented training professional accountable for product and disease training for the US Business Unit, with primary responsibility for the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) field teams. This headquarters-based position reports to the Director, US Commercialization Learning and involves designing, developing, and executing training assets for new hire training, brand updates, selling skills, new product launches, competitive product launches, POA meetings, and Field Readiness Meetings.
The Learning Lead will collaborate across a fast-paced, complex matrix organization, including Commercialization Teams, US Field Enablement Team, WW Centre of Excellence, and Enterprise Learning Services. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Legal, Compliance, and other functions to strategically address business needs and deliver value to customers and patients. Additionally, the role evaluates ongoing Commercialization Learning needs and recommends strategies, tactics, and budget planning for assigned products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with training colleagues, Sales, Operations, Marketing leadership, and preceptors to implement results-focused, performance-based, standardized training and development processes.
- Strategic planning and development of a comprehensive sales training curriculum for training classes, POAs, and other national/regional/district meetings.
- Coordinate and align across the matrix and cross-functional teams to ensure training materials meet the goals and objectives of both Sales and Marketing.
- Ensure training resources (e.g., materials, workshops, infographics/job aids) meet all regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements for assigned projects.
- Deploy and deliver a curriculum inclusive of key competencies: Selling Skills, Scientific Agility (clinical disease state knowledge, competitor and market landscapes), and Business Analytics.
- Work with and/or manage external vendors and internal personnel to ensure successful design and execution of assigned training programs and projects.
- Assess and analyze the effectiveness of assigned training programs and initiatives utilizing the Kirkpatrick Model.
- Leverage the internal Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to design, develop, and deliver engaging adult learning experiences across eLearning, live, and virtual training modalities.
- Engage the WW Centre of Excellence to share and leverage assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience.
- Demonstrated curriculum design and understanding of adult learning principles, including experience leading workshops.
- Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proven performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Experience developing and implementing key learning objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Problem-solving and solutions-oriented team player.
- Strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, develop, execute, and adjust business plans.
- Experience operating within a highly complex cross-matrix environment; ability to collaborate with key matrix team members including Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance.
- Impact-driven with high learning agility and keen ability to prioritize.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and AI applications (ChatGPT/MS Co-Pilot).

$91.27-$96.81/hour
