About the role
Get paid to experience Texas museums, attractions, and sites with top notch 3rd-8th graders on Sunday-Friday, overnight Lone Star Leadership Academy summer camps. Camps take place in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio, and Houston/Galveston. We take care of your entrance fees, meals, and lodging and pay you $975/week. In addition, you can earn 40 professional development hours.
Responsibilities
Facilitators ensure participants have the best experience possible, teach all about Texas and leadership via provided curriculum, work with a great team of educators from across Texas, and take new experiences and knowledge back to their classrooms.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for, and/or knowledge of, Texas history, government, science, and geography
- Outgoing, friendly, and dependable
- High-energy and able to work long hours
- Attendance at paid training session
- Reside at camp location during work week
Assistant Director Role
Assistant Directors work behind the scenes to ensure students have the best experience possible.
