What You’ll Do

• Leadership: Directly or indirectly lead teams of associates at various levels, setting and maintaining sales, customer service, and visual merchandising goals and standards. Encourage collaboration, cooperation, and co‑ownership across all business channels. Build a high‑energy culture of fun, engagement, service, and results. Ensure execution of the store vision and mission.
• Job Knowledge: Establish priorities and set direction for associates in partnership with other store leaders. Ensure full understanding of store communications, product information, advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Results Oriented: Achieve established goals, identify and analyze problems, and propose solutions that produce positive outcomes. Help manage controllable costs, profit and loss, and maintain fiscal responsibility for the store.
• Communication/Teamwork: Communicate regularly with associates and other leaders. Provide associate and customer feedback to both associates and store leadership.

Leadership Positions in Our Stores

• Assistant Store Leader, Design & Trade: Lead the sales staff, provide training for sales skills, and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Assistant Store Leader, Visual: Execute Crate’s high visual standards, maintaining the store’s beauty and welcoming presence for customers.
• Assistant Store Leader, Operations: Keep the stockroom neat, organized, and helpful, driving productivity and efficiency.
• Assistant Store Leader, Customer Experience & Outreach: Drive sales and engagement through hands‑on leadership, program training, and initiatives that boost customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. Oversee key programs (Design Services, Trade, Registry, events) to drive traffic and conversion while maintaining brand standards.

Schedule

Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends, including Saturday and Sunday in some weeks.
