The Leadership Development Professional (LDP) role at our Idabel, Oklahoma lumber mill is an entry-level leadership developmental position designed to provide excellent growth potential and opportunity for advancement.
About the role
This is a full-time, salaried exempt training position that provides hands-on learning, operational rotations, and process improvement projects. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Mill Manager. Relocation benefits are available for this and subsequent positions.
Responsibilities
- Develop safety leadership skills
- Complete a structured 12-month rotation through all operational areas of the mill
- Work on projects and assignments to promote active learning and contribute to mill’s successful performance
- Gain exposure to metrics, reliability, and process improvement projects
- Gain broad exposure to Timberlands, Raw Materials, Sales, and Finance
- Develop front-line leader skills
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Forestry, or related discipline, or on track to receive one by the Summer of 2027
- Willingness to adapt to a strong safety culture and ensure safe and efficient execution of work
- Ability to exercise good judgment in setting priorities and follow-through in a fast-paced results-oriented environment
- Strong desire to learn manufacturing processes, develop leadership capabilities, and possess a desire to progress within the organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other Windows-based programs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, Forestry, or related discipline
- On track to receive a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Forestry, or related discipline by the Summer of 2027

Pay
This role is eligible for an annual merit-increase program, with a salary range of $58,830 - $88,245 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, working a day shift (1st).
