About the Role

This is a senior transformation role focused on turning enterprise data and analytics strategy into measurable business outcomes. You will help shape how data, governance, analytics, and emerging technologies are adopted across a complex, highly regulated environment. The role combines strategic execution with hands-on enablement, stakeholder leadership, governance, and organizational change.

You will work closely with business leaders and technology teams to deliver high-value initiatives and strengthen enterprise data capabilities. A major focus will be building a business-led data governance and stewardship model, including a scalable Data Champion community. You will also help accelerate analytics and AI adoption while establishing standards, processes, and capabilities that make investments sustainable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of the enterprise data and analytics strategy by establishing the processes, governance practices, skills, and community support needed for successful delivery.
  • Provide data, analytics, reporting, governance, and AI expertise across strategic initiatives, partnering with project teams and business stakeholders to improve consistency, adoption, and measurable business value.
  • Promote the reuse of standards, tools, methodologies, and lessons learned across initiatives to improve delivery efficiency and reduce duplicated effort.
  • Develop organizational capabilities that increase the effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability of data and analytics investments.
  • Lead the development and expansion of business-led data governance and stewardship capabilities.
  • Build and scale a Data Champion community by defining its operating model, skills requirements, engagement processes, and supporting technologies.
  • Drive adoption, accountability, and a stronger data-driven culture across business functions while ensuring governance supports AI-ready data capabilities.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives associated with data, analytics, governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Build stakeholder alignment, encourage adoption, and influence decision-making and organizational behavior without relying on formal authority.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and executive stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and outcome-focused guidance.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams and facilitate discussions involving competing priorities, complex concepts, and organizational change.
  • Support executive decision-making by translating technical and analytical topics into clear business language and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in data and analytics, business transformation, governance, operational excellence, consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives that delivered measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead enterprise-wide initiatives without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience developing effective partnerships between business and technology organizations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, complex, and rapidly changing environments while leading organizational change.
  • Hands-on experience implementing data governance, stewardship, analytics enablement, AI adoption, or related enterprise capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience within insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern data and analytics technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview, Copilot, SQL, and Python is a plus.
  • Experience leading governance, stewardship, analytics enablement, AI adoption, business transformation, or organizational transformation programs is highly valued.
  • Lean, change management, business transformation, or operational excellence experience is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex data and technology concepts in clear, business-oriented terms.
