Lead Workday Extend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprise technical lead and subject matter expert for the Workday Extend platform
• Own Extend solution architecture, development standards, and governance models
• Lead the design and delivery of complex, cross-functional Extend applications from concept to production support
• Ensure solutions align with Workday best practices and compliance requirements by partnering with functional and security leaders
• Arcitect and implement secure, scalable integrations using Workday APIs and orchestration frameworks
• Establish and enforce SDLC, testing strategies, and release management across Workday tenants
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design guidance, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8-10 years of experience in enterprise application development or Workday technical roles
• Experience leading the design and delivery of production-grade Workday Extend applications
• Workday Pro Certification - Extend (active or ability to obtain within 1 year)
• Expertise in Workday Extend, including UI frameworks and event-driven architecture

Pay

$149,600 – $162,400 annually
