Essential Responsibilities
- Create and maintain big data architecture standards and frameworks which support the big data strategy.
- Lead & drive efforts to develop, maintain and measure reference architecture, standards, design patterns and related technical documentation to ensure implementation of the strategic big data plan.
- Develop business, information and technical architectures that are aligned with data strategies & principles; develop optimized technology road maps to support strategic data.
- Manage technical governance of technology solutions, big data architecture principles, big data reference architecture and big data standards.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction.
- Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of big data/enterprise architecture technologies.
- Apply knowledge in the continued development and enhancement of advanced analytics plans.
- Interact with senior management and effectively communicate highly technical information to numerous audiences.
- Effectively develop relationships and gain support from related stakeholders.
- Anticipate business needs and trends and the direction Advanced Analytics/Big Data must take in order to properly support the business.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS or related field.
- Eight years of big data experience with multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Experience with large scale big data methods Experience with researching, experimenting, and utilizing leading.
- Big Data methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with architecture, implementation and testing data processing pipelines, data mining / data science algorithms on a variety of hosted settings.
- Experience translating advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations across multiple, diverse domains; communicate results and educate others through design and build of insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with team members and clients to assess needs, provide assistance, and resolve problems.
