LEAD WAIT STAFF -Eddy Memorial - Troy, NY - Full Time

About the role

We are looking for committed employees with flexibility, a strong work ethic, and exceptional customer service skills. This position has varying work schedules and experience levels so everyone is welcome!

Responsibilities

• Serve food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance
• Supervise other wait staff/food service workers to ensure that all jobs are done in a timely manner
• Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies
• Work with nursing and other dining staff to serve residents
• Ensure all food service department policies and safety rules are followed
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths when needed
• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior food service experience is required, preferably in a lead position
• Experience waiting tables is preferred

Pay

The pay range is $16.70 - $20.36 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
