Lead Veterinarian - Primary Care (Sign-on Bonus!)

About the role

This talented team seeks an experienced veterinarian to join our Stratford, CT location. We are looking for a doctor who not only excels in clinical care but enjoys mentoring and supporting their team members when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a diverse range of animals
• Mentor and support team members
• Collaborate with a network of specialists for complex cases
• Support the development of a positive hospital culture
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
• Experience in primary care
• Passion for mentoring and supporting team members

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
