One of our clients is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join its growing primary care practice in Stratford, Connecticut. • Modern, stand-alone veterinary hospital.
• Seven fully equipped examination rooms, including a dedicated feline exam room.
• Surgical suite and dedicated dental suite.
• Dedicated oncology treatment area.
• Ultrasound services with specialist support.
• In-house laboratory.
• Digital radiography and dental radiography.
• Advanced ultrasound technology.
• Spacious treatment area designed for efficient workflow.
• Private entrance for contagious patients and end-of-life appointments.
• Large dog wards and patient care areas.
• Strong collaboration with emergency and specialty veterinary services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures.
• Mentor and support veterinary team members when appropriate.
• Educate clients on preventive healthcare and treatment options.
• Collaborate with specialists and hospital staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established medical protocols.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday.
• Rotating Saturdays.
• Designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active or eligible for veterinary licensure in Connecticut.
• Experience in companion animal primary care.
• Strong surgical, diagnostic, and client communication skills.
• Interest in mentoring and collaborating with veterinary team members.
