About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Lead UX Designer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $210,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Pioneer an AI-Native UX vision for underwriting solutions across the organization
- Design user experiences that clarify AI-generated insights and enhancements
- Transform underwriting workflows from manual to automated processes focusing on high-value tasks
- Create interfaces that effectively integrate structured and unstructured risk data
- Develop intelligent decision-support systems that integrate seamlessly into user workflows
- Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering teams
- Align UX design efforts with product roadmaps while adapting to evolving project needs
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of UX design experience, mostly in complex SaaS, big data, or AI/ML applications
- Proven track record in Risk Management environments like FinTech or InsureTech
- Fluency in AI/ML UX principles, focusing on probabilistic vs deterministic systems
- Strong storytelling skills to combine user-centric and data-driven narratives
- Experience facilitating design-thinking workshops to unify cross-functional teams around user problems
- Proven capability in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
- Proficient in using AI tools such as NotebookLM, Gemini, or Claude Code
- An outstanding portfolio that reflects a human-centered design process and measurable impact
