Tree of Knowledge is a licensed childcare center seeking Early Childhood Lead Teachers to support the following age groups: Two Year Olds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA or higher certification preferred
• One year of experience required
• Pass all background checks

Compensation

$13-15/hour, based on education and experience

Job Responsibilities

• Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and follow the classroom schedule/daily routine
• Use parent communication efficiently
• Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
• Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom
• Conduct child assessments and portfolios for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during November and May
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, run, and climb stairs
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
