Lead Tour Guide - Ryman Auditorium

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to tour guides.
• Serve as an ambassador for Ryman Auditorium, engaging guests and potential guests.
• Conduct guided tours, fulfilling all functions of the tour guide position while serving as lead for the shift (as needed).
• Create a daily schedule for tour guides, rotating staff members, assigning set-up and strike duties.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist Department Trainer with hands-on training of new employees as needed.
• Inform Museum & Tours Manager and Assistant Manager of any pressing needs for the department.
• Maintain general order and cleanliness of both front of house and back areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Public speaking skills.
• Good oral and listening communication skills.
