Summary Description Of Work

Unique opportunity to maintain a caseload of clients providing clinical support in an outpatient setting while also offering training, mentorship, leadership, expertise, and guidance to a team of clinicians who are growing their skills.

Compensation

Between $56,500 and $71,400 (dependent on years of experience)

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (40 hours per week)

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP); Licensed Independent Mental Health Provider (LIMHP); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or substance abuse treatment experience preferred

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Affords training new therapists in clinical and program procedures
• Provides consultation and supervision for therapists when clinical supervisor is unavailable
• Affords assistance in overall program functioning such as client intake, discharge, and represents clinical staff in other avenues as needed
• Affords ability to complete and train clinicians on evaluations with a diverse population of clients with co-occurring disorders utilizing evidence based practices
• Affords establishment and support of clinicians on treatment plans, with client participation, which specifies treatment structure, outcomes, goals and objectives; within first 2 sessions
• Affords provision of counseling to individuals in group, couple, family, or individual settings, within the framework of the treatment plan and monitors progress and offers guidance to a team of clinicians on how to maintain
• Affords completion of all case documentation for clinical and billing purposes; maintaining clinical records that meet established standards of timeliness and completeness and helps newer clinicians learn a sustainable practice
• Affords handling of cases of the highest degree of complexity
• Affords collaboration with all programs within Heartland Family Service to have a better understanding of what they offer in order to support evaluation recommendations in Heartland’s continuation of care
• Affords being prompt and accurate in completing all required reports, statistics and other requirements
• Affords meeting clinical requirements of third party payers (authorizations, reviews, documentation) and provides information necessary for prompt and accurate billing
• Affords providing mental health crisis intervention as needed
• Affords being dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance
• Affords striving to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts
