Lead Test Automation Engineer

Capgemini is currently looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to join a growing team supporting a large enterprise environment.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys staying close to the technology while also leading testing efforts, mentoring team members, and working directly with business and technical stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have strong experience building automation frameworks, leading QA initiatives, and supporting web, mobile, API, and backend testing efforts. Required Experience:8+ years of QA and Test Automation experienceStrong hands-on Java development skills4+ years of Selenium automation experience2+ years of Appium mobile automation experienceExperience building automation frameworks from scratchAPI testing experience using tools such as REST Assured or PostmanSQL and database validation experienceExperience leading QA or Automation teamsTest planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder communication experienceAgile/Scrum experienceExperience with JIRA or similar tools Nice to Have:PlaywrightMablInsurance or Financial Services experiencePerformance testing experience We're looking for someone who can be both a technical leader and an individual contributor. This person should be comfortable reviewing code, troubleshooting automation issues, mentoring team members, and helping drive testing strategy across multiple initiatives.
