Job Overview

As a Lead Technician at Kitchen Guard of Cherry Hill, NJ location, you'll be at the heart of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans
• Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment
• Performing tasks independently without direct supervision
• Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies
• Lead a crew at night with minimal supervison
• Complete the job at Kitchen Guard standards
• Understand Kitchen Exhaust systems at a high level

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of fire and life safety systems
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess the client’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements to provide informed consultations
• Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness
• Solve on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments
• Able to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet
• Able to stand for 10 hours at a time
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently
