Lead Technician, Facilities - Sign Shop

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Lead oversees the preparation and installation of signs, while the Maintenance Technician-Sign Shop performs related duties. This position adheres to all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operational functions and staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and oversee repairs and equipment replacement.
• Coordinate the delivery and pick-up of signs, materials, and equipment.
• Provide customer service and assist with sign installations.
• Operate independently and within a team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar resort setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Mastery of interpreting maintenance instructions, sketches, plans, blueprints, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and stressful environment.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience using graphic design software and RIP software.
• Preferred degree in general education, 4+ years of progressive experience, and previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
