About the Role

As Lead Technical Trainer at Neros, you’ll own the strategy and day-to-day execution of technical training that enables technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams to build, test, and sustain Neros systems safely and at scale. You’ll translate engineering intent into clear, repeatable training programs and certify readiness across the production and NPI line.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and deliver training programs from concept to completion.
• Engage and train both technicians and leaders with strong facilitation skills.
• Manage multiple concurrent training projects with excellent organizational skills.
• Partner effectively with cross-functional teams as a strong collaborator and communicator.
• Apply a data-driven mindset to measure training impact and outcomes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, or similar roles.
• People leadership experience.
• Proven ability to design, manage, and deliver training programs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (strongly preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience building or maintaining a formal technician certification program, training matrix, or LMS for a manufacturing team.
• Background in aerospace, drones, robotics, electronics, defense manufacturing, or another high-reliability hardware environment.
• Hands-on experience with production test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, or quality processes, especially in a fast ramp or NPI environment.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, standard work, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methods used to improve technician performance.
• Experience training across multiple shifts, products, or sites while keeping training standards consistent and records audit-ready.

Pay

US Salary Range: $101,000 - $142,000 USD. The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on work experience, education, training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.

Export Compliance: The person hired will have access to information and items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and must be a "U.S. Person" or otherwise eligible to receive an export license. A “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), asylees, or refugees.
